One-One Executive Coaching
The challenge comes when we become Managers and need to develop teams and hold people to account. As we move towards being a Director and Business Owner the skills needed widen; suddenly you need to be an expert in finance, sales, marketing, HR, operations – the list goes on.
Business Coaches identify the missing knowledge gaps and ensure you have the team and systems in place across the business to build a successful, scaleable business. Taking on a Business Coach is like having another member of your Management Team to provide expert support across all business functions.
At some stage you may want to get a General Manager in or sell your business. We work with many Business Owners to make sure they get the returns they deserve.
A systemised business with a strong team will sell for around 3 times more than a business dependent on the business owner. Working with IQ 4 Business you will get the flexibility of support that you need throughout your business.
"I would like to thank you for the excellent work you carried out with one of my salaried partners. I referred him for some coaching because he expressed a desire to obtain some management experience prior to him taking responsibility for the employment team in London.
As you know, he is a very dedicated, professional lawyer who has had his head down in the law for the past 15 years or so. This is the first time he has been asked to take on some management responsibility, which of course requires man-management skills.
We agreed for you to provide him with some one-to-one coaching over a few months. It involved him receiving 360-degree feedback from all members of the team. It was quite challenging for him but he was keen to get involved and progress.
The senior management team very quickly noticed a change once the coaching had begun. He became more aware of how he interacts with other members of the team not only one-to-one but also in group discussions. He listened more, threw out some challenges and became more focused on the topics of discussion. The coaching made him aware of his bad habits and these could create a negative environment. As a result, the entire team has noticed a positive change in his bahavior, which bodes well for his future management challenge.
No doubt he will require further coaching as he progresses but you have handed him some self help skills that have enabled him to overcome personal barriers to develop into a mature manager of people.
Thank you very much for your service. I believe it was a good investment because the results were seen quickly and have already made a noticable difference to the team environment. A positive that I hope you can help us build upon.
I would not hesitate in recommending your coaching services to others".
